In 2009, Susi became the South Australian Telstra Nokia Innovation Business Woman of the Year and SA’s Rural Australian Woman of the Year.
She has worked as a Chief Executive in the medical field for more than 12 years where she proactively worked with industry, business and community to address medical access and safety. She is currently the CEO of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and a Director of the Adelaide Western General Practice Network
Susi is the former Deputy Chair of Farmbis SA. She has been involved in the SA Farmer's Federation in Community Services (Electricity, Infrastructure, telecommunication, education OH&S and health) and has an extensive background and understanding of the medical, health, rural and education sector.
She has held the position of Deputy Chair Farm Safety South Australia and is a member of the National Strategy for Injury prevention on farms and injury prevention for children on farms.
