Program Manager

Karim Haddad brings a broad background in leadership development training and design. He spent 14 years with Outward Bound Australia in a variety of leadership roles from Group Instructor, Course Co-ordinator to CEO. He has consulted extensively in Leadership program design within Australia as well as in Oman, Madagascar, Indonesia, New Zealand and Malaysia. 

Manager: Short Courses

Zoe Routh has the role of Manager: Short Course Design and Delivery. She is responsible for developing new leadership short courses for the industry sectors and other interested rural stakeholders. Zoe hails originally from Canada, where her career in challenge-based experiential education began leading canoe trips and managing the out-tripping program. Zoe has worked in experiential education and leadership development for over twenty five years. She is also the past President of the Chamber of Women in Business.

Manager: Leadership, Evaluation And Development

Jennifer’s role is to support the leadership aspirations and development of the Foundation’s alumni network and to oversight and implement evaluation activities of the Foundation.

Jenny grew up on a property near the NSW towns of Goolgowi and Gunbar. She completed a doctorate investigating community-based rural education and for the last 15 years she has been involved in rural social research, consultancies and education in Australia and overseas.

Business Manager

Jane Healey is responsible for the management of the Foundation's business including; corporate governance, office management and financial systems. Included in the portfolio is the management of the Foundation's budget, human resources, contract management and the overseeing of office systems and procedures.

Jane has strong connections to rural, remote and regional Australia and has had extensive experience in finance and business management across a broad range of industry sectors. She is passionate about education and for the past 7 years has worked in the independent school system in primary through to tertiary level.

Jane is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management with a particular interest in the role of leadership in organisational change.

Executive Assistant     

Annette Bunfield is Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive as well as being responsible for all aspects of the ARLP recruitment process. She  provides administrative support to Foundation staff, ARLP applicants, participants and graduates, as well asFoundation Fellows,Sponsors and Board Members.

With many years experience in administration and customer service in both the public and private sectors, Annette contributes to the smooth running of the Foundation office.

Annette has been a volunteer for over 10 years with the Red Cross Home Visitor Service and the Canberra Hospital Auxiliary.

Program Co-ordinator

Li-er Kendall is the Foundation's Program Co-ordinator working closely with Karim (Program Manager) to support the administration and logistics of the Australian Rural Leadership Program.  Most recently, Li-er co-ordinated an international music festival and managed her own early childhood music program.  Li-er has strong administrative and inter-personal skills having worked with non-profit organisations, schools, a real estate company and a legal firm.
