Ele is a partner in a 627-hectare organic beef farm at Coolah, North West NSW. She is a member of the Coolah District Development Group, working closely with community groups to achieve projects, and has a keen interest in establishing a community foundation. She was the winner of the RIRDC NSW Rural Women of the Year Award for 2007, holds a Certificate in Public Relations and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
