Julie is a lawyer who has been working with aboriginal communities and organisations for 16 years. Her professional experience includes native title negotiations and agreement making, corporate governance and community development. She is particularly interested in sustainable regional development initiatives in Northern Australia including protection of cultural knowledge and natural values, the promotion of innovative partnerships and collaboration, and the provision of equitable economic opportunities for the regional communities. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and is a Member of the Institute of Company Directors.
