James coordinates forest and fire planning across North east Victoria for the Department of Sustainability and Environment. His responsibilities include managing roads and tracks in state forest, planning of perscribed burning and forest compliance activities. James holds a Bachelor of Education degree and had a long career in education before transferring to natural resource management ten years ago. James continues his involvment in education through active involvement with Alexandria Secondary College.
