We hold the courses in Canberra, ACT as a central location.
Other locations are possible for a customised program, if there is a need to have it closer to the participants' location.
The group size is 14-20 people. This allows the necessary diversity to promote meaningful discussions whilst maintaining a manageable group to facilitate individualised attention and active participation in group activities.
For an 8 day, fully residential program the all-inclusive investment per person is $9350 incl GST.
Travel to start location of the course is the individual's responsibility.

If you are...
Then you are the perfect candidate for TRAIL.
Challenge-based learning
This is the educational method of immersing participants in challenging environments where they are compelled out of their comfort zone to solve problems, followed by deliberate reflection and application of learning to future experiences and situations.
Adult Learning
Adults learn best when they choose to be there, on topics that are directly relevant to them and their personal circumstances. While not every session may suit the individual's interests, the overall program design is developed in consultation with the client to deliver on industry needs and the individual's role within that industry context.
Authentic learning environments
The Foundation’s education programs expose participants to a range of complex experiences in authentic learning environments. The goal of contextual education in authentic situations is to assist the learner to translate theory and conceptual learning into practice. The Foundation relies heavily on real world themes that combine a range of resources and activities to allow partiicpants to have a variety of authentic learning experiences that can be transferred to participants’ lives and leadership activities. (Cooper, 1993. ) Case studies are the context for authentic learning in the TRAIL program.
